Shame is a very deep word.

Shame can enslave those less knowledgeable of the world they live in, and shame can also be a barrier that prevents a person from being manipulated into unwise actions before they have fully matured.

Shame is equally bad and equally good. To believe shame is only a bad thing, or shame is only a good thing, is to not fully understand the power and importance of shame.
